BHAOSA is a professional
organization of music and
movement educators
dedicated to the creative
teaching approach
developed by Carl Orff and
Gunild Keetman, located in
Western South Dakota.
We are.....

united by our belief that music
and movement -
to speak, sing and play;
to listen and understand
to move and create -
should be an active and joyful
experience
Tell me, I forget.
Show me, I remember.
Involve me, I understand.

Sing, Dance, and Play the Orff Process Way!

Participants will sing, play instruments, and perform movement to
accompany folk songs of various cultures.  (African, Asian, European,
and North American folk music will be featured.)  We will mine a couple
of jewels from Volume I, and use them in a kid-friendly way.  Pieces will
be appropriate for many grade levels, but will focus primarily on upper
elementary-aged students.

You’ll not only receive materials that are usable with your students; you’ll
enjoy learning and performing them with your colleagues, too.  So please
join us for this day of music!
